Measured by FlareWarden's own checks of zuplo.com from multiple regions every 6 hours. Zuplo's status page sets the verdict above when it reports trouble, but never these figures. Percentages count only checks that returned an availability answer — 17 days measured so far. A dash means that window does not yet hold enough measured days to publish a figure.

What Zuplo does

Zuplo is an API gateway and API management platform. Teams define routes and policies such as API key authentication and rate limiting in code kept in Git, then deploy them to Zuplo's Managed Edge across 300+ data centers, to a managed dedicated instance on a cloud they choose, or to their own Kubernetes cluster. Zuplo can also host the developer portal where an API's users read its docs.

What an outage looks like

Most Zuplo incidents hit the control side: builds and deployments fail or hang, saves in the portal.zuplo.com working copy stall, or the portal itself will not load or sign in. Hosted developer portals have returned errors and failed to load static assets. Gateway traffic is reported separately, in four Cloud Gateway rows: API Gateways, Core Runtime, API key validation and rate limiting.

What to do about it

Check status.zuplo.com and note which rows are affected. If only Portal or Build & Deployment Services are named, hold deploys and retry after the incident resolves: in past deployment incidents Zuplo said existing gateways kept running. If a developer portal still fails afterwards, Zuplo has advised redeploying it manually. Support is the Zuplo Discord for every plan, plus support@zuplo.com on enterprise plans.

Is it down for everyone, or just you?

If this page says Zuplo is up but it is not loading for you, the problem is between you and them. Run a check against any URL from up to 17 cities across three regions to find out where it breaks.

Zuplo outage FAQ

Do my APIs go down when the Zuplo portal is down?
Not in Zuplo's past incidents. During the October 20, 2025 AWS outage Zuplo said running API Gateways were not impacted while builds and deployments failed at a high rate. A bad management API change on June 18, 2025 broke the portal but did not impact running gateways. Zuplo's docs do not promise this, so check the Cloud Gateway rows on the status page.
Is it Zuplo or Cloudflare?
Often Cloudflare, for Managed Edge projects. Zuplo named Cloudflare as the cloud provider behind intermittent API Gateway deploy failures for managed-edge deployments on May 22, 2026, and linked Cloudflare incidents when edge deployments partly failed in August and September 2025. In the November 18, 2025 Cloudflare outage Zuplo services stayed available but with higher error rates.
Why does my developer portal fail when the API works?
The developer portal is its own component. The status page describes it as Zuplo hosted developer portals, such as api.example.com/docs, and Zuplo serves them from a CDN. Portals failed on their own three times in March 2026, each fixed within an hour. When newly published portals failed on November 3, 2025, Zuplo said a manual redeploy of the portal should resolve it.
Does a Zuplo incident affect managed dedicated customers too?
Not always. Managed dedicated gateways run on a cloud the customer chooses, such as AWS, GCP, Azure or Akamai, and some incidents hit only one hosting model. On May 11, 2026 deploys failed intermittently for managed-dedicated customers while managed-edge customers were unaffected and existing environments kept routing traffic. On November 6, 2025 the reverse held: Cloudflare-based projects were unaffected.
How long do Zuplo incidents usually last?
Most are short. Of the 25 incidents on Zuplo's status page from June 2025 to August 2026, 14 were resolved within two hours. The longest followed outages at its providers: deployment errors during the October 20, 2025 AWS outage lasted about 11 hours, and edge deployment failures tied to Cloudflare in August and September 2025 lasted three to nine hours.

How we measure this

  • We request Zuplo's public endpoint every 6 hours from Fly.io regions across six continents — the most recent check ran from 8 of them. When you open this page and our last check is more than 30 minutes old, we check again on the spot; those checks update the verdict, never the availability figures.
  • A region counts as down only when it gets no usable HTTP response. A 403 or 429 means the origin answered and refused us, which we report as blocked, never as an outage.
  • A single failing region is treated as probe noise. Our checks only change their verdict when two consecutive cycles agree.
  • Response times average only the regions that actually served the page, so a timeout never inflates the number.
  • Where Zuplo publishes an official status feed we read it too, and the verdict is the worse of what it reports and what our checks see: a major outage of Zuplo itself is Down, trouble with one part of it is Degraded, problems at a few of a provider's many locations change nothing, and a security notice that marks nothing down is shown but changes nothing either. We check the feed every 3 minutes and read it again within minutes of any change to its incidents or components; a reading counts for 45 minutes after the last check that found nothing changed. The availability figures above are our measurement alone.
