MMS Delivery Delays From a Subset of Twilio Long Codes to C-Spire United States
We have observed a recovery in MMS delivery from a subset of Twilio Long Codes to C-Spire network subscribers in the United States and are monitoring service stability. We will provide another update in 2 hours or as soon as more information becomes available.
A component listed here does not necessarily mean a full outage — large providers routinely report maintenance on individual locations. It only affects the verdict above when the vendor marks it major or critical and our own checks also saw Twilio fail from enough regions to rule out probe noise.

What Twilio does
Twilio is a cloud communications platform that provides APIs for SMS, voice calls, video, and email. It enables developers to programmatically send text messages, make phone calls, and build communication workflows. Twilio powers critical communication features for companies like Uber, Airbnb, and thousands of other businesses.
What an outage looks like
When Twilio is down, SMS messages fail to send or are severely delayed. Two-factor authentication codes delivered via Twilio will not arrive, locking users out of accounts. Voice calls placed through Twilio's API will fail to connect, and WhatsApp Business messages may not be delivered.
What to do about it
Check status.twilio.com for the status of specific products (SMS, Voice, Verify, etc.) and regions. If you rely on Twilio for 2FA, have backup authentication methods available like authenticator apps or backup codes. For critical SMS, consider a secondary SMS provider as a failover.

How we measure this
- We request Twilio's public endpoint every 30 minutes from Fly.io regions across six continents — 18 of them answered the most recent check.
- A region counts as down only when it gets no usable HTTP response. A
403or429means the origin answered and refused us, which we report as blocked, never as an outage. - A single failing region is treated as probe noise. We only change the verdict when two consecutive cycles agree.
- Response times average only the regions that actually served the page, so a timeout never inflates the number.
- Where Twilio publishes an official status feed we read it too. An all-clear from the vendor can soften an unconfirmed degradation; a vendor-declared outage only worsens our verdict when our own checks corroborate it.
