Each region runs its own request from a different part of the world. A service can be up for one continent and down for another, which is usually the first sign of a routing or CDN problem.
What Toggl Track does
Toggl Track is a time tracking tool used by freelancers, agencies and consultancies to log billable hours against clients and projects, from a browser, desktop and mobile apps and a browser extension. The wider Toggl suite adds Plan for scheduling, Work and Focus, and integrations push tracked time into project management and invoicing tools.
What an outage looks like
The web app loads without your time entries, or a running timer will not stop and save. Entries created in the desktop and mobile apps fail to sync, so the same block of time appears on one device and not another. Reports render empty or omit recent days. Integrations stop pushing entries into connected tools, and API calls and webhooks return errors.
What to do about it
Check status.toggl.com, which reports Track separately from the wider Toggl suite and breaks Track into the web app, API, Reports, Integrations and Webhooks, so a reporting-only or integration-only problem is visible rather than guessed at. Note what you were tracking before retrying anything, and reconcile entries against the server once the page is green rather than re-creating them, since duplicates distort billable totals.
Is it down for everyone, or just you?
If this page says Toggl Track is up but it is not loading for you, the problem is between you and them. Run a check against any URL from all 18 regions to find out where it breaks.

How we measure this
- We request Toggl Track's public endpoint every 6 hours from Fly.io regions across six continents — 8 of them answered the most recent check.
- A region counts as down only when it gets no usable HTTP response. A
403or429means the origin answered and refused us, which we report as blocked, never as an outage. - A single failing region is treated as probe noise. We only change the verdict when two consecutive cycles agree.
- Response times average only the regions that actually served the page, so a timeout never inflates the number.
- Where Toggl Track publishes an official status feed we read it too. An all-clear from the vendor can soften an unconfirmed degradation; a vendor-declared outage only worsens our verdict when our own checks corroborate it.
