Measured by FlareWarden's own checks of textmagic.com from multiple regions every 6 hours. Textmagic's status page sets the verdict above when it reports trouble, but never these figures. Percentages count only checks that returned an availability answer — 5 days measured so far. A dash means that window does not yet hold enough measured days to publish a figure.

What Textmagic does

Textmagic is a business text messaging service. Companies use its web app, mobile app, email to SMS and SMS API to send notifications, reminders and marketing texts and to receive replies, and it also runs email campaigns and voice services. Its status page tracks the web app, outbound and inbound SMS, the SMS API gateway, email to SMS, voice, the mobile app and billing separately.

What an outage looks like

The web app does not load and texts stop sending, as in full outages caused by its server provider on August 20, 2026 (about 3.7 hours) and an external network provider on July 17 (about 3 hours). During the November 18, 2025 Cloudflare incident users saw Internal server error. Upstream provider problems can delay SMS in some countries only, as in the UK, Europe and Australia in May 2026.

What to do about it

Check status.textmagic.com, linked from textmagic.com, which lists outbound SMS, inbound SMS, the API gateway and the web app separately. If only delivery to certain countries is slow, the cause is often an upstream provider. In the May 2026 provider incident Textmagic rerouted traffic and said queued messages would be delivered once connectivity returned, so check the incident before resending a campaign.

Is it down for everyone, or just you?

If this page says Textmagic is up but it is not loading for you, the problem is between you and them. Run a check against any URL from up to 17 cities across three regions to find out where it breaks.

Textmagic outage FAQ

Is Textmagic down or is it my account?
Check status.textmagic.com, which shows the web app, outbound SMS, inbound SMS and the API gateway as separate rows. If the page is green and only your messages fail, check your balance and the delivery report for the failed numbers, since a carrier in one country can reject messages while the rest go through.
Will I lose incoming replies during a Textmagic outage?
Not necessarily. In the May 2026 upstream provider incident, inbound SMS was disrupted in parts of the UK, Europe and Australia, and Textmagic said queued messages were expected to be delivered once connectivity was restored. After recovery it saw a large spike in inbound traffic as previously queued replies were processed and delivered.
Does a Cloudflare outage affect Textmagic?
Yes. Textmagic names Cloudflare as a hosting provider, and during Cloudflare's degradation on November 18, 2025 users could see Internal server error across the web app, SMS sending and receiving, email to SMS, the API gateway and voice for about an hour. When Cloudflare reports a major incident, expect Textmagic to be affected too.
How long do Textmagic outages last?
Full outages have lasted from minutes to a few hours: 3.7 hours on August 20, 2026, 3 hours on July 17, 2026 and 30 minutes on July 22, 2025. Upstream SMS delivery problems can run longer; the May 2026 incident in the UK, Europe and Australia stayed open for about 32 hours while the provider recovered.

How we measure this

  • We request Textmagic's public endpoint every 6 hours from Fly.io regions across six continents — the most recent check ran from 8 of them. When you open this page and our last check is more than 30 minutes old, we check again on the spot; those checks update the verdict, never the availability figures.
  • A region counts as down only when it gets no usable HTTP response. A 403 or 429 means the origin answered and refused us, which we report as blocked, never as an outage.
  • A single failing region is treated as probe noise. Our checks only change their verdict when two consecutive cycles agree.
  • Response times average only the regions that actually served the page, so a timeout never inflates the number.
  • Where Textmagic publishes an official status feed we read it too, and the verdict is the worse of what it reports and what our checks see: a major outage of Textmagic itself is Down, trouble with one part of it is Degraded, problems at a few of a provider's many locations change nothing, and a security notice that marks nothing down is shown but changes nothing either. We check the feed every 3 minutes and read it again within minutes of any change to its incidents or components; a reading counts for 45 minutes after the last check that found nothing changed. The availability figures above are our measurement alone.
