We are continuing to work on a fix for this issue.
A component listed here does not necessarily mean a full outage — large providers routinely report maintenance on individual locations. It only affects the verdict above when the vendor marks it major or critical and our own checks also saw Tenable fail from enough regions to rule out probe noise.

Each region runs its own request from a different part of the world. A service can be up for one continent and down for another, which is usually the first sign of a routing or CDN problem.
What Tenable does
Tenable makes vulnerability and exposure management software. Security teams use Tenable Vulnerability Management, Tenable One, Tenable Cloud Security and Identity Exposure to find weaknesses across servers, cloud accounts and identities, fed by scanners and agents on their own networks. Each customer's data lives on one hosted site, such as us-2a or fra, and incidents are often scoped to one product on one site.
What an outage looks like
Logins fail, or the workspace opens but menus and asset views do not load. Scheduled scans start late or never start; during the UAE01 incident, scans using the UAE cloud scanner group were aborted. Exports, asset tagging and recast rules fall behind, so dashboards show stale results. Agents keep scanning but cannot upload, and Azure connector syncs into Tenable One or Cloud Security stall.
What to do about it
Find your region under Settings, License, then read your product's row for that site on status.tenable.com rather than the headline banner. Do not rerun agent scans straight away: agents retest the connection about every 30 minutes and upload triggered scan results once it returns. If Nessus plugin updates fail, check the Tenable Plugin Feed Service row under Tenable Services.

How we measure this
- We request Tenable's public endpoint every 6 hours from Fly.io regions across six continents — the most recent check ran from 8 of them.
- A region counts as down only when it gets no usable HTTP response. A
403or429means the origin answered and refused us, which we report as blocked, never as an outage. - A single failing region is treated as probe noise. We only change the verdict when two consecutive cycles agree.
- Response times average only the regions that actually served the page, so a timeout never inflates the number.
- Where Tenable publishes an official status feed we read it too. An all-clear from the vendor can soften an unconfirmed degradation; a vendor-declared outage only worsens our verdict when our own checks corroborate it.
