Measured by FlareWarden's own checks of tekmetric.com from multiple regions every 6 hours. Tekmetric's status page sets the verdict above when it reports trouble, but never these figures. Percentages count only checks that returned an availability answer — 13 days measured so far. A dash means that window does not yet hold enough measured days to publish a figure.

What Tekmetric does

Tekmetric is all-in-one software for independent and multi-location auto repair shops: repair orders, estimates, digital vehicle inspections, parts and inventory, tire management, reporting, payments, texting and online booking. Shops run it in the browser at shop.tekmetric.com and in the Tekmetric Mobile app, and it connects to parts and repair data services such as PartsTech, Worldpac SpeedDial 2.0, ProDemand, MOTOR and OEC RepairLink.

What an outage looks like

Most incidents start at a partner. During PartsTech outages, as on October 5, 2026, parts searches and orders inside Tekmetric fail or stall, and ProDemand or SpeedDial problems show up as authentication and parts search errors. Tekmetric's own incidents show as a slow application, repair orders arriving late in reporting, one-way texts such as inspections, estimates and invoices not sending, or webhooks to integrators arriving late or not at all.

What to do about it

Check status.tekmetric.com, which lists Application, API, Webhooks and Integrations separately; an Integrations incident usually means the partner, not Tekmetric, is down. Parts can still be ordered from the supplier directly while it clears. Call support at (832) 787-0900, Monday to Friday 7AM to 7PM CST, or email support@tekmetric.com; in-app chat starts with the Ava assistant, available 24/7.

Is it down for everyone, or just you?

If this page says Tekmetric is up but it is not loading for you, the problem is between you and them. Run a check against any URL from up to 17 cities across three regions to find out where it breaks.

Tekmetric outage FAQ

Why can I not order parts in Tekmetric?
Usually because a parts partner is down. Most incidents on status.tekmetric.com are Integrations problems at PartsTech, Worldpac SpeedDial 2.0, ProDemand, MOTOR or OEC RepairLink, such as PartsTech outages on September 15 and October 5, 2026 that each lasted about three hours. Tekmetric posts these when it sees errors and contacts the partner, but the fix happens on the partner's side.
Will Tekmetric reports catch up after an outage?
Yes, in past incidents. During the AWS incident on October 20, 2025, Tekmetric said reporting was delayed but all records were being properly registered, only not displayed in real time. In August 2025 posted repair orders were slow to appear in reporting, and Tekmetric processed the backlog of delayed records until reporting was fully up to date the next day.
Are inspections and invoices still texted to customers during an outage?
Not always. On May 26, 2026, one-way texting was degraded for most of the day; MFA and booking tool SMS codes came back first, while sending inspections, estimates and invoices by text took longer to restore. Tekmetric said two-way texting through Tekmessage was not affected that time. If a customer did not get a text during an incident, resend it after it resolves.
How long do Tekmetric outages usually last?
Application incidents are usually short. Recent latency incidents on status.tekmetric.com lasted 18 minutes on March 2, 2026, 11 minutes on April 14 and about 90 minutes on June 9, 2026. Partner outages run longer, often around three hours, and a database upgrade problem on June 6, 2024, which Tekmetric traced to a bug in AWS's database engine, lasted until 9:29 AM EDT.
Does the check on this page measure the Tekmetric app?
No. It loads www.tekmetric.com, the public marketing website. Shops work in the app at shop.tekmetric.com and in Tekmetric Mobile, and parts ordering depends on partner services, none of which this check loads. A green result here means the website answers; use the Application, API, Webhooks and Integrations rows on status.tekmetric.com for the product itself.

How we measure this

  • We request Tekmetric's public endpoint every 6 hours from Fly.io regions across six continents — the most recent check ran from 8 of them. When you open this page and our last check is more than 30 minutes old, we check again on the spot; those checks update the verdict, never the availability figures.
  • A region counts as down only when it gets no usable HTTP response. A 403 or 429 means the origin answered and refused us, which we report as blocked, never as an outage.
  • A single failing region is treated as probe noise. Our checks only change their verdict when two consecutive cycles agree.
  • Response times average only the regions that actually served the page, so a timeout never inflates the number.
  • Where Tekmetric publishes an official status feed we read it too, and the verdict is the worse of what it reports and what our checks see: a major outage of Tekmetric itself is Down, trouble with one part of it is Degraded, problems at a few of a provider's many locations change nothing, and a security notice that marks nothing down is shown but changes nothing either. We check the feed every 3 minutes and read it again within minutes of any change to its incidents or components; a reading counts for 45 minutes after the last check that found nothing changed. The availability figures above are our measurement alone.
