Measured by FlareWarden's own checks of svix.com from multiple regions every 6 hours. Svix's status page sets the verdict above when it reports trouble, but never these figures. Percentages count only checks that returned an availability answer — 6 days measured so far. A dash means that window does not yet hold enough measured days to publish a figure.

What Svix does

Svix is a webhook platform. Software companies use it to send webhooks to their own customers, with retries, signature verification and a ready-made portal where customers manage their endpoints, instead of building that delivery system themselves, and it can receive webhooks too. When Svix has problems, the products built on it may be late telling their customers' systems about events.

What an outage looks like

Most Svix incidents are regional: higher latency and occasional errors creating messages in the EU region (October 16, 2026) or errors and timeouts on message APIs in the US region (September 3). Messages can be delivered normally while they are slow to appear in the dashboard, the application portal and list-message APIs (August 12), and dashboard logins have failed with a Something went wrong error (July 30).

What to do about it

Check status.svix.com, linked from svix.com, which lists the API, the application portal, the dashboard and the documentation, and names the region in incident titles. Svix retries each failed delivery on a fixed schedule, so messages it already accepted do not need resending. For errors when creating messages, Svix has advised retrying, and noted that its SDKs retry automatically.

Is it down for everyone, or just you?

If this page says Svix is up but it is not loading for you, the problem is between you and them. Run a check against any URL from up to 17 cities across three regions to find out where it breaks.

Svix outage FAQ

Is Svix down or is it my webhook endpoint?
Usually it is the endpoint. A receiving endpoint that is down or slow shows as failed attempts, which Svix retries. Svix counts a delivery as successful only when the endpoint returns a 2xx status within about 30 seconds. A Svix problem shows on status.svix.com instead, typically as API errors or latency in one region.
Will Svix resend webhooks after an outage?
Yes, for messages it accepted. Svix retries a failed delivery immediately, then after 5 seconds, 5 minutes, 30 minutes, 2 hours, 5 hours, 10 hours and 10 hours again, about 27 hours in all. A receiver can stop retries by answering with the header webhook-delivery: abort-message. Messages that failed to be created during an incident need creating again.
Does a Svix outage affect every region?
Rarely. Svix runs separate regions and most incidents name one: the EU on October 16 and June 3, 2026, the US on September 3 and June 22, and US West 2 on March 12, when AWS connectivity issues raised errors there. Check the region in the incident title against the one your account uses.
Why are new messages missing from the Svix dashboard?
It can be a delay in listing rather than in delivery. On August 12, 2026 some US customers saw created messages appear late in the list-message APIs, the application portal and the dashboard, while Svix said messages were still being delivered normally. It was resolved in about 75 minutes.

How we measure this

  • We request Svix's public endpoint every 6 hours from Fly.io regions across six continents — the most recent check ran from 8 of them. When you open this page and our last check is more than 30 minutes old, we check again on the spot; those checks update the verdict, never the availability figures.
  • A region counts as down only when it gets no usable HTTP response. A 403 or 429 means the origin answered and refused us, which we report as blocked, never as an outage.
  • A single failing region is treated as probe noise. Our checks only change their verdict when two consecutive cycles agree.
  • Response times average only the regions that actually served the page, so a timeout never inflates the number.
  • Where Svix publishes an official status feed we read it too, and the verdict is the worse of what it reports and what our checks see: a major outage of Svix itself is Down, trouble with one part of it is Degraded, problems at a few of a provider's many locations change nothing, and a security notice that marks nothing down is shown but changes nothing either. We check the feed every 3 minutes and read it again within minutes of any change to its incidents or components; a reading counts for 45 minutes after the last check that found nothing changed. The availability figures above are our measurement alone.
