Reachability by region

Each region runs its own request from a different part of the world. A service can be up for one continent and down for another, which is usually the first sign of a routing or CDN problem.

What Real-Debrid does

Real-Debrid is a subscription service that converts links from many file hosts into direct high-speed downloads and resolves torrent files through its own servers. Media centre add-ons and download managers integrate with its API, so subscribers usually meet it through another application rather than by opening the website.

What an outage looks like

Link unrestricting fails, returning an error instead of a direct download, and applications resolving through the API show no sources or hang at resolution. Downloads already in progress may continue, because the transfer runs directly from the file host once a link has been issued. The account dashboard can fail separately from the API.

What to do about it

Check status.real-debrid.com before changing any settings. Re-entering the API key or re-authorising an application does not help when the service side is failing, and repeated re-authorisation can hit rate limits that outlast the outage itself. Downloads already issued generally finish, so let running transfers complete rather than restarting them.

Is it down for everyone, or just you?

If this page says Real-Debrid is up but it is not loading for you, the problem is between you and them. Run a check against any URL from all 18 regions to find out where it breaks.

Real-Debrid outage FAQ

Is it Real-Debrid or my add-on that is broken?
Sign in on the website and try unrestricting a link by hand. If that works while the add-on fails, the fault is the add-on's stored token or its own servers. If the website fails too, it is the service. Checking this before reinstalling anything saves reconfiguring a setup that was working.
Do downloads already running stop during an outage?
Usually not. Once a direct link has been issued, the transfer runs between you and the file host, so it can finish even while new links cannot be generated. What fails is asking for anything new. Let running downloads complete rather than restarting them into an outage.
Will an outage use up my subscription days?
Subscription time runs on the calendar rather than on usage, so days spent in an outage are days you paid for. No automatic credit for downtime is published. If an incident runs long, the support route linked from the website is the only way to ask, and any adjustment is at the company's discretion.
Does a Real-Debrid outage mean the file hosts are down?
No. The hosts it unrestricts are separate companies on their own infrastructure. A Real-Debrid incident means links cannot be converted, not that the underlying files are unavailable. A free download taken directly from the host, with its usual speed limits and waiting, generally still works during the outage.

How we measure this

  • We request Real-Debrid's public endpoint every 6 hours from Fly.io regions across six continents — 8 of them answered the most recent check.
  • A region counts as down only when it gets no usable HTTP response. A 403 or 429 means the origin answered and refused us, which we report as blocked, never as an outage.
  • A single failing region is treated as probe noise. We only change the verdict when two consecutive cycles agree.
  • Response times average only the regions that actually served the page, so a timeout never inflates the number.
  • Where Real-Debrid publishes an official status feed we read it too. An all-clear from the vendor can soften an unconfirmed degradation; a vendor-declared outage only worsens our verdict when our own checks corroborate it.
