Salesforce Workflow Connection issues in all Regions
Due to a Salesforce issue surfacing with enablement of recently introduced mandatory security controls, some Qualtrics workflows connecting to Salesforce are currently failing to authenticate, with a message indicating that the connection has expired or is invalid. ACTION: These connections will not recover on their own. Restoring them requires a one-time re-authorization per affected connection on your side. This can be done by either: 1) navigating to the impacted workflow and refreshing the Salesforce credential (recommended), or 2) creating a new credential, sharing in the same way as the one being replaced, saving and assigning to each affected workflow.
A component listed here does not necessarily mean a full outage — large providers routinely report maintenance on individual locations. It only affects the verdict above when the vendor marks it major or critical and our own checks also saw Qualtrics fail from enough regions to rule out probe noise.
Qualtrics uptime
Measured from multiple regions every 6 hours. Percentages count only checks that returned an availability answer — 21 days measured so far. A dash means that window does not yet hold enough measured days to publish a figure.
30-day history
21-day clean streakReachability by region
Each region runs its own request from a different part of the world. A service can be up for one continent and down for another, which is usually the first sign of a routing or CDN problem.
What Qualtrics does
Qualtrics runs surveys and experience programmes for companies and universities, covering distribution, response collection, dashboards and workflows. Research studies and customer feedback programmes have fixed fielding windows, so an outage during collection costs responses that cannot be recovered by extending a deadline afterwards.
What an outage looks like
Respondents reach a survey link that fails to load, and abandon rather than retry. Surveys open but responses error on submit, so partial data is recorded without the respondent knowing. Distribution by email or SMS stalls, delaying an entire send. Dashboards and reports load stale, and workflows that create tickets from responses stop firing.
What to do about it
Check status.qualtrics.com, which reports Survey Taking and Survey Editing separately from Distributions, Logins, Dashboards, Workflows and the API, so a broken dashboard does not mean collection has stopped. Pause a scheduled distribution rather than resending it, since a partially delivered send followed by a second one produces duplicate invitations to the same panel.
Is it down for everyone, or just you?
If this page says Qualtrics is up but it is not loading for you, the problem is between you and them. Run a check against any URL from all 18 regions to find out where it breaks.

How we measure this
- We request Qualtrics's public endpoint every 6 hours from Fly.io regions across six continents — 8 of them answered the most recent check.
- A region counts as down only when it gets no usable HTTP response. A
403or429means the origin answered and refused us, which we report as blocked, never as an outage. - A single failing region is treated as probe noise. We only change the verdict when two consecutive cycles agree.
- Response times average only the regions that actually served the page, so a timeout never inflates the number.
- Where Qualtrics publishes an official status feed we read it too. An all-clear from the vendor can soften an unconfirmed degradation; a vendor-declared outage only worsens our verdict when our own checks corroborate it.
