Poshmark is a resale marketplace for clothing, shoes and accessories, where sellers list from their own closets and buyers browse a feed built around sharing and following. Naver owns it. For the people who sell on it full time it is a storefront and an income, so an outage during a posting party or a weekend rush costs real sales rather than convenience.
What an outage looks like
Listings fail to publish or upload photos, and shares and follows silently do nothing. The feed loads empty or shows stale items. Checkout errors at payment, so buyers abandon carts on listings that look available. Shipping label generation fails, leaving sold items unshippable. Push and email notifications for offers and sales stop, so sellers miss time-limited offers entirely.

How we measure this
- We request Poshmark's public endpoint every 6 hours from Fly.io regions across six continents — 8 of them answered the most recent check.
- A region counts as down only when it gets no usable HTTP response. A
403or429means the origin answered and refused us, which we report as blocked, never as an outage. - A single failing region is treated as probe noise. We only change the verdict when two consecutive cycles agree.
- Response times average only the regions that actually served the page, so a timeout never inflates the number.
- Where Poshmark publishes an official status feed we read it too. An all-clear from the vendor can soften an unconfirmed degradation; a vendor-declared outage only worsens our verdict when our own checks corroborate it.
