What Pipedrive does

Pipedrive is a sales CRM built around a visual pipeline, where deals move through stages towards a close. Sales teams use it to track contacts, log calls and emails, and forecast revenue, and it usually connects to a mailbox and calendar, which means an outage interrupts the working day rather than just a reporting view.

What an outage looks like

The web app fails to load or deals will not move between pipeline stages, with changes reverting after a refresh. Email Sync and Smart BCC stop capturing correspondence, so conversations happening in the mailbox never appear against the contact. Calendar and contact sync fall behind, webhooks to other systems are delayed, and web forms embedded on your own site stop creating leads.

What to do about it

Check status.pipedrive.com, which breaks the service into the web and mobile apps, Email Sync, Contact and Calendar Sync, REST API v1, Webhooks, Web Forms and Workflow Automation, among many others. Email captured by Smart BCC generally appears once sync catches up, so avoid forwarding it again by hand. Log calls and notes elsewhere and enter them afterwards rather than losing them.

Is Pipedrive down or just slow for me?
Pipedrive's status page lists dozens of components, so a single broken feature does not mean the platform is down. Check whether the specific thing failing, such as Search, Email Sync or Reports, is flagged. If everything is operational, try a different browser or network, since an extension blocking requests produces failures that look convincingly like an outage.
Will emails be captured after a Pipedrive email sync outage?
Usually yes. Email Integration and Smart BCC are tracked as their own components, and messages that arrive while sync is degraded are generally picked up once it recovers, since they still sit in the mailbox. Wait for the component to clear before forwarding anything manually, because doing both is how the same conversation ends up attached to a deal twice.
Do my web forms still collect leads when Pipedrive is down?
Not reliably. Web Forms is a separate component, and forms embedded on your own site depend on Pipedrive to accept the submission, so visitors may see an error or a form that never confirms. Your website stays up, but the leads it should be capturing do not arrive, which is easy to miss because nothing on your side appears broken.
Does a Pipedrive outage stop workflow automation and webhooks?
Yes, and those are the effects that persist after the app looks healthy again. Workflow Automation and Webhooks are listed separately, and Pipedrive has reported webhook delivery delays as an incident in its own right. Anything downstream that depends on a webhook, such as an invoicing tool or an internal integration, may be missing records even once the interface works normally.
Can I keep selling while Pipedrive is unavailable?
Yes, provided you keep a record. Calls, meetings and emails continue as normal, since the customer is not affected by your CRM being down. Note deal changes, call outcomes and next steps somewhere temporary and enter them once service returns, and check the pipeline afterwards for any change you made during the incident that did not persist.

  • A single failing region is treated as probe noise. We only change the verdict when two consecutive cycles agree.
  • Response times average only the regions that actually served the page, so a timeout never inflates the number.
  • Where Pipedrive publishes an official status feed we read it too. An all-clear from the vendor can soften an unconfirmed degradation; a vendor-declared outage only worsens our verdict when our own checks corroborate it.
