What Ontraport does
Ontraport is a CRM and marketing automation platform for small businesses. Owners use it to keep contacts and sales pipelines, send email and SMS campaigns, take payments through order forms, run membership sites and publish landing pages, lead forms and hosted WordPress sites. Because those pages and forms are what customers see, an Ontraport problem can stop sales and sign-ups as well as the team's own work.
What an outage looks like
Logging in to the app fails or hangs, landing pages, order forms and lead forms load slowly or not at all, or campaign emails arrive hours late. Ontraport's status page lists Login, Landing Pages, Payment Forms, Lead Generation Forms, Hosted Wordpress Sites and DNS as client-facing rows, and API, Email Delivery, Payment Processing and Automation as backend services. Recent 2026 incidents were mostly DDoS attacks slowing login and landing pages.

During email delays, do not resend campaigns straight away: Ontraport has said affected messages are retried until delivered or until a 12-hour retry window expires. - We request Ontraport's public endpoint every 6 hours from Fly.io regions across six continents — the most recent check ran from 8 of them. - A region counts as down only when it gets no usable HTTP response. A
403or429means the origin answered and refused us, which we report as blocked, never as an outage. - A single failing region is treated as probe noise. Our checks only change their verdict when two consecutive cycles agree.
- Response times average only the regions that actually served the page, so a timeout never inflates the number.
