Reachability by region

Each region runs its own request from a different part of the world. A service can be up for one continent and down for another, which is usually the first sign of a routing or CDN problem.

What Monday.com does

monday.com is a work management platform where teams track projects, sales pipelines and operations on shared boards, with automations and integrations wired between them. Whole departments run their daily process inside it, so an outage stops coordination rather than one feature, and the automations that quietly move work along stop with it.

What an outage looks like

Boards fail to load or open with columns empty. Updates typed into an item do not save, and the board reverts when it reconnects. Automations stop firing, so items sit in a status that should have triggered a notification or a move. Integrations with other tools fail quietly, and notifications and emails arrive late or not at all.

What to do about it

Check status.monday.com, which reports Platform, Automations, Integrations, Login and SSO, Notifications and the API separately, and splits every one of them across the US, EU, AUS and IL regions, so confirm your region first. Automations that did not fire during an incident do not always run retroactively, so review anything time sensitive once the platform recovers.

Is it down for everyone, or just you?

If this page says Monday.com is up but it is not loading for you, the problem is between you and them. Run a check against any URL from all 18 regions to find out where it breaks.

Monday.com outage FAQ

Is monday.com down or is it only my account region?
monday.com reports each component across four regions: US, EU, AUS and IL. Accounts are hosted in one of them, so an incident can stop one office entirely while another notices nothing. Confirm your region before escalating internally, because a global status pill does not tell you whether your own account is affected.
Do automations run after the outage ends?
Not dependably. Automations trigger on events, and an event that occurred while the automation engine was degraded may not be replayed once it recovers. Treat anything with a deadline attached as needing a manual check rather than assuming the backlog caught up. Automations is a separate status component precisely because it fails independently of the boards.
Will updates I typed during an outage be saved?
Updates the browser accepted but could not send are often held and sync when the connection returns. Anything typed into a tab you then closed or refreshed is usually gone. Keep the tab open until the status page clears. If the text matters, copying it elsewhere first costs seconds and removes the uncertainty entirely.
Why can I see my board but not save changes?
Reading and writing fail separately in most incidents, since serving a cached board is far cheaper than accepting a change that triggers automations, notifications and integrations. A partly degraded platform commonly shows exactly this. Repeatedly retrying a save is worth avoiding, because some attempts land despite returning an error and produce duplicates.
Does a monday.com outage break connected tools?
Integrations are their own component and fail on their own. A tool syncing to monday.com will error or silently stop, depending on how it handles failures. Some retry and catch up; others record one failure and move on. Once monday.com recovers, check the connected tool rather than assuming the sync resumed from where it stopped.

How we measure this

  • We request Monday.com's public endpoint every 6 hours from Fly.io regions across six continents — 8 of them answered the most recent check.
  • A region counts as down only when it gets no usable HTTP response. A 403 or 429 means the origin answered and refused us, which we report as blocked, never as an outage.
  • A single failing region is treated as probe noise. We only change the verdict when two consecutive cycles agree.
  • Response times average only the regions that actually served the page, so a timeout never inflates the number.
  • Where Monday.com publishes an official status feed we read it too. An all-clear from the vendor can soften an unconfirmed degradation; a vendor-declared outage only worsens our verdict when our own checks corroborate it.
