Measured by FlareWarden's own checks of karbonhq.com from multiple regions every 6 hours. Karbon's status page sets the verdict above when it reports trouble, but never these figures. Percentages count only checks that returned an availability answer — 10 days measured so far. A dash means that window does not yet hold enough measured days to publish a figure.

What Karbon does

Karbon is practice management software for accounting and bookkeeping firms. Firms use it to run client work as workflows, assign tasks, track time and budgets, bill clients and share a client portal. Its Triage inbox brings email from connected Gmail and Office 365 accounts together with internal notes and notifications, so a Karbon problem can hold up both the firm's workflow and its client email.

What an outage looks like

Emails stop arriving in Triage or sync hours late, the login page shows a blank screen, a 503 or a Cloudflare error, or sign-in fails with an authentication error such as ADSTS50011. Karbon's status page splits the Web Application into rows such as Log in & Access, Emails and Work, beside rows for the API, Integrations, the mobile app and Client Portal. Karbon posted six email sync or Triage delay incidents between August 31 and October 13, 2026.

What to do about it

Check status.karbonhq.com and expand the Karbon Web Application group to see which feature is affected. For sign-in errors, Karbon's past workarounds were clearing cache and cookies or trying a private window. During email delays, wait before resending: past incidents ended with the backlog processed. Karbon Support is reachable by in-app chat, at support@karbonhq.com, or by phone on +1 415 592 6352 in the US.

Is it down for everyone, or just you?

If this page says Karbon is up but it is not loading for you, the problem is between you and them. Run a check against any URL from up to 17 cities across three regions to find out where it breaks.

Karbon outage FAQ

Does a Microsoft Azure outage affect Karbon?
Yes, it has. On July 23, 2026 Karbon said an ongoing Microsoft Azure outage left some customers unable to access Karbon, and email notifications from Karbon were delayed until the backlog cleared; the incident lasted about six hours. On August 28, 2026 an Azure incident raised Karbon's error rates for about 43 minutes and could stop contact avatars and company logos from displaying. Karbon pointed customers to Azure's own status page.
Will emails delayed in Triage show up later?
In past incidents they did. During the August 31, 2026 Triage incident Karbon reported the backlog of messages decreasing while new messages processed normally, and after the July 23, 2026 Azure outage it said delayed messages had been processed and no action was needed. If emails still look missing after an incident is marked resolved, Karbon asks customers to contact support@karbonhq.com.
Why can't I log in to Karbon?
Check the Log in & Access row on Karbon's status page first. On June 18, 2026 sign-in failed with an ADSTS50011 redirect URI mismatch error for about two hours, and Karbon suggested clearing cache and cookies or using a private window. Later that day a separate fault left some users on a blank login screen for nearly eight hours. On July 17, 2026 the login page returned a 503 or Cloudflare error for about 30 minutes.
How do I reach Karbon support during an outage?
Try more than one channel. Karbon's help center lists live chat from Help & Feedback in the app, email at support@karbonhq.com, and phone lines in the US (+1 415 592 6352), Australia and the UK. Support has its own rows on the status page: on October 6, 2026 in-app chat would not open for about three hours while email and phone still worked, and on September 16, 2026 chat, email and calls were all hard to reach.
What does the check on this page measure?
It loads karbonhq.com, Karbon's public website, which Karbon's status page tracks as the Karbon Website row. It does not sign in, open Triage, sync email, call the Karbon API or load the Client Portal or mobile app. A green result means the website answers, not that the application works; Karbon noted during a June 2025 website incident that the application was not affected.

How we measure this

  • We request Karbon's public endpoint every 6 hours from Fly.io regions across six continents — the most recent check ran from 8 of them. When you open this page and our last check is more than 30 minutes old, we check again on the spot; those checks update the verdict, never the availability figures.
  • A region counts as down only when it gets no usable HTTP response. A 403 or 429 means the origin answered and refused us, which we report as blocked, never as an outage.
  • A single failing region is treated as probe noise. Our checks only change their verdict when two consecutive cycles agree.
  • Response times average only the regions that actually served the page, so a timeout never inflates the number.
  • Where Karbon publishes an official status feed we read it too, and the verdict is the worse of what it reports and what our checks see: a major outage of Karbon itself is Down, trouble with one part of it is Degraded, problems at a few of a provider's many locations change nothing, and a security notice that marks nothing down is shown but changes nothing either. We check the feed every 3 minutes and read it again within minutes of any change to its incidents or components; a reading counts for 45 minutes after the last check that found nothing changed. The availability figures above are our measurement alone.
