Measured by FlareWarden's own checks of incident.io from multiple regions every 6 hours. incident.io's status page sets the verdict above when it reports trouble, but never these figures. Percentages count only checks that returned an availability answer — 16 days measured so far. A dash means that window does not yet hold enough measured days to publish a figure.

What incident.io does

incident.io is an incident management platform covering on-call paging, incident response, AI investigations and status pages. Alerts from monitoring tools arrive through alert sources and escalate to whoever is on call by app, phone, SMS, Slack or email, while responders run incidents from Slack with the /inc command or from Microsoft Teams. It also hosts public status pages for its customers.

What an outage looks like

Pages arrive late or not at all when alert ingestion, processing and paging is affected, or one channel fails while others still deliver. Other incidents hit a single surface: the /inc Slack app, the Microsoft Teams app, sign-in, AI features or one integration. Recent examples: Slack sign-in errors for some Enterprise Grid customers on October 2, 2026, and delayed Teams messages on August 20, 2026.

What to do about it

Check status.incident.io and match the failing component; updates often say outright whether paging is affected. If paging is, have the on-call watch your monitoring tools directly. Coordinate in a plain Slack channel and a shared doc, then record the incident afterwards with /inc retro or the Retrospective incident tab under Declare incident. Workflows do not run on retrospective incidents by default.

Is it down for everyone, or just you?

If this page says incident.io is up but it is not loading for you, the problem is between you and them. Run a check against any URL from up to 17 cities across three regions to find out where it breaks.

incident.io outage FAQ

Will I still get paged if incident.io is having an incident?
Usually, unless paging itself is the affected part. status.incident.io lists alert ingestion, processing and paging as one component, with push, SMS, phone, Slack and email as separate channels. Its October 2 and August 18, 2026 updates both said paging was unaffected. incident.io pages its own engineers through a backup provider if its page is not acknowledged within a minute, a pattern you can copy.
Can we still sign in if Slack or SSO login fails?
Yes, if it was set up beforehand. incident.io's docs say admins with Manage security settings can always sign in with Slack or Microsoft, a role can be granted Bypass SAML Login, and sign in with email works independently of your identity provider. During the October 2, 2026 Slack sign-in incident, customers using SAML sign-in were not affected.
Is it safe to resend alerts after an incident.io outage?
Yes, if your alerts carry stable deduplication keys. incident.io's docs say an event that arrives with the same key as an alert that is still firing creates no new alert, and a resolved event with that key resolves the active alert. HTTP alert sources let you choose the key yourself; other integrations set it in their own way.
A vendor's status page hosted on incident.io will not load. Is that this outage?
Possibly. incident.io runs public status pages for its customers, and status.incident.io reports them as their own component, Status pages, separate from paging and the dashboard. If that component shows a problem, the vendor's service may be fine and only its status page is affected. If it shows operational, the vendor's page itself is the likelier problem.
What does the check on this page measure?
It loads incident.io, the company's website. It does not test the dashboard, the API, alert ingestion, paging or the Slack app. status.incident.io lists more than 40 components, from paging channels to integrations such as Datadog, Jira and PagerDuty, and recent incidents have hit one of them while the rest stayed up, so check the specific component you depend on.

How we measure this

  • We request incident.io's public endpoint every 6 hours from Fly.io regions across six continents — the most recent check ran from 8 of them. When you open this page and our last check is more than 30 minutes old, we check again on the spot; those checks update the verdict, never the availability figures.
  • A region counts as down only when it gets no usable HTTP response. A 403 or 429 means the origin answered and refused us, which we report as blocked, never as an outage.
  • A single failing region is treated as probe noise. Our checks only change their verdict when two consecutive cycles agree.
  • Response times average only the regions that actually served the page, so a timeout never inflates the number.
  • Where incident.io publishes an official status feed we read it too, and the verdict is the worse of what it reports and what our checks see: a major outage of incident.io itself is Down, trouble with one part of it is Degraded, problems at a few of a provider's many locations change nothing, and a security notice that marks nothing down is shown but changes nothing either. We check the feed every 3 minutes and read it again within minutes of any change to its incidents or components; a reading counts for 45 minutes after the last check that found nothing changed. The availability figures above are our measurement alone.

Get alerted when incident.io goes down

We check incident.io every 6 hours, and again when you open this page if that was more than 30 minutes ago. Your own monitors run as often as every 30 seconds, from up to 17 cities across three regions, and tell you the moment something breaks.
