Measured by FlareWarden's own checks of getharvest.com from multiple regions every 6 hours. Harvest's status page sets the verdict above when it reports trouble, but never these figures. Percentages count only checks that returned an availability answer — 8 days measured so far. A dash means that window does not yet hold enough measured days to publish a figure.

What Harvest does

Harvest is time tracking software for agencies, consultancies and other teams that bill by the hour. People start timers on the web or in the desktop and mobile apps, then managers turn tracked hours and expenses into reports and invoices. Forecast, its sister product, plans who works on which project.

What an outage looks like

The app and API stop responding, so timers will not start or stop, sign-in fails and logged hours do not load, as on April 1, 2026 for about 45 minutes. Integrations can fail on their own, as the QuickBooks integration did on March 24. Forecast can be down while Harvest works (November 25, 2025), and an upstream cloud provider outage took Harvest down on December 5, 2025.

What to do about it

Check harveststatus.com, linked from getharvest.com, which reports the Harvest app and API, Forecast, mobile, email, background jobs and third-party integrations separately. Write down start and end times while the app is down and enter them afterwards. If invoices or QuickBooks syncs failed during an incident, check them once it is resolved rather than sending them twice.

Is it down for everyone, or just you?

If this page says Harvest is up but it is not loading for you, the problem is between you and them. Run a check against any URL from up to 17 cities across three regions to find out where it breaks.

Harvest outage FAQ

Is Harvest down right now?
Compare the checks on this page with harveststatus.com. Harvest posts incidents there quickly, often titled Harvest Disruption, and marks which component is affected. If both are green and only you cannot get in, try signing in from a private browser window, since a browser extension or stale session is a common cause.
What happened in the April 2026 Harvest outage?
On April 1, 2026 the Harvest application and API were down for about 45 minutes. Harvest said an automated database maintenance operation made the database temporarily unreachable, and that it had deployed a fix to stop it recurring. There were several other Harvest disruptions in March 2026 as well.
Does a Harvest outage affect Forecast?
Not always. Forecast is a separate component on harveststatus.com and has failed on its own, as in a full Forecast outage on November 25, 2025. A Harvest-wide incident can affect both, so check which components the status page marks.
Why is my Harvest QuickBooks sync not working?
Check the Third Party Integrations component on harveststatus.com. Harvest posted a QuickBooks integration outage on March 24, 2026, during which syncs failed while the rest of Harvest worked. If Harvest shows nothing, check QuickBooks Online's own status, since either side can break the connection.

How we measure this

  • We request Harvest's public endpoint every 6 hours from Fly.io regions across six continents — the most recent check ran from 8 of them. When you open this page and our last check is more than 30 minutes old, we check again on the spot; those checks update the verdict, never the availability figures.
  • A region counts as down only when it gets no usable HTTP response. A 403 or 429 means the origin answered and refused us, which we report as blocked, never as an outage.
  • A single failing region is treated as probe noise. Our checks only change their verdict when two consecutive cycles agree.
  • Response times average only the regions that actually served the page, so a timeout never inflates the number.
  • Where Harvest publishes an official status feed we read it too, and the verdict is the worse of what it reports and what our checks see: a major outage of Harvest itself is Down, trouble with one part of it is Degraded, problems at a few of a provider's many locations change nothing, and a security notice that marks nothing down is shown but changes nothing either. We check the feed every 3 minutes and read it again within minutes of any change to its incidents or components; a reading counts for 45 minutes after the last check that found nothing changed. The availability figures above are our measurement alone.
