Reachability by region

Each region runs its own request from a different part of the world. A service can be up for one continent and down for another, which is usually the first sign of a routing or CDN problem.

What GoTo does

GoTo is the company formerly known as LogMeIn. It sells business communications and remote IT tools under several long-established brands: GoTo Connect and Grasshopper for phone systems, GoTo Meeting and GoTo Webinar for conferencing, and Rescue, GoToAssist, LogMeIn Resolve and GoToMyPC for remote support and remote access.

What an outage looks like

Meetings will not start or participants cannot join. Remote support sessions fail to connect, so technicians cannot reach the machines they are supporting. Business phone service drops calls or fails to route them. GoToMyPC cannot reach remote computers. Webinar attendees see errors on the join link they were sent.

What to do about it

Read status.goto.com, and read past the summary. One status page covers the whole product family, listing GoTo Connect, Contact Center, Grasshopper, GoTo Meeting and Webinar, LogMeIn Resolve, LogMeIn Miradore, Rescue and GoToAssist, and GoToMyPC and Hamachi as separate components. All Systems Operational at the top can be true while the one product you use is the affected row.

Is it down for everyone, or just you?

If this page says GoTo is up but it is not loading for you, the problem is between you and them. Run a check against any URL from up to 18 cities across three regions to find out where it breaks.

GoTo outage FAQ

Which products does status.goto.com actually cover?
All of them, on one page. GoTo owns several separately branded products, and the status page lists GoTo Connect, Contact Center, Grasshopper, Customer Engagement, GoTo Meeting and Webinar, LogMeIn Resolve, LogMeIn Miradore, Rescue and GoToAssist, GoToMyPC and Hamachi, and the GoTo API as individual components. Find the brand you actually use rather than reading the headline.
Rescue is failing but the status page says all systems operational. How?
The summary line reflects the overall picture while each product sits as a separate row beneath it. Rescue and GoToAssist share one component on status.goto.com, so scroll to that row rather than trusting the banner. GoTo also lists GoTo StatusPage itself as a component, which is a useful reminder that the page reporting an incident is a service too.
Can I still buy or add seats during an outage?
Not necessarily. Purchase and Subscription Operations is its own component on status.goto.com, and GoTo schedules maintenance against it separately from the products. Its own maintenance notices state that during those windows customers cannot purchase new subscriptions, modify existing ones or add seats, while all GoTo products keep running normally throughout.
Is it GoTo or my own network?
Compare scope. Remote support and conferencing both need outbound connections that corporate firewalls sometimes block, and that produces connection failures at one site while everyone else works normally. A GoTo incident appears on status.goto.com against a named component. If the page is clear and only your office is affected, examine the network path before the vendor.
Does an outage affect recordings I already made?
Recordings already stored are not the same thing as the live service, so an incident affecting meetings does not by itself remove them. What an incident can prevent is a recording still being processed from becoming available. Check the component for the meeting product you use, and look for the recording again once the incident has been resolved.

How we measure this

  • We request GoTo's public endpoint every 6 hours from Fly.io regions across six continents — the most recent check ran from 8 of them.
  • A region counts as down only when it gets no usable HTTP response. A 403 or 429 means the origin answered and refused us, which we report as blocked, never as an outage.
  • A single failing region is treated as probe noise. We only change the verdict when two consecutive cycles agree.
  • Response times average only the regions that actually served the page, so a timeout never inflates the number.
  • Where GoTo publishes an official status feed we read it too. An all-clear from the vendor can soften an unconfirmed degradation; a vendor-declared outage only worsens our verdict when our own checks corroborate it.
