Reachability by region

Each region runs its own request from a different part of the world. A service can be up for one continent and down for another, which is usually the first sign of a routing or CDN problem.

What Gorgias does

Gorgias is a helpdesk built for online stores, pulling customer conversations from email, chat, SMS and social into one queue alongside order data from the shop platform. Its status page is unusually granular, reporting the Shopify, Stripe, ReCharge, Yotpo and Aircall integrations separately from the helpdesk itself, and listing regional helpdesk clusters across the US, Europe and Australia.

What an outage looks like

Tickets stop arriving from one channel while others keep flowing, since Email, Live Chat, SMS, WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook Messenger are separate components. Order and subscription details fail to load inside a ticket when the Shopify or ReCharge integration is affected, leaving the conversation without the context agents rely on. Duplicate tickets and unexpected reopenings can follow a channel incident.

What to do about it

Read status.gorgias.com by component, not by banner: find your channel, your integration and your regional helpdesk cluster, since a cluster incident affects only the accounts hosted on it. Wait before merging or closing duplicates created during a channel incident, because the queue often settles once processing resumes. The Help Center and Web App are listed separately from ticket handling.

Is it down for everyone, or just you?

If this page says Gorgias is up but it is not loading for you, the problem is between you and them. Run a check against any URL from up to 18 cities across three regions to find out where it breaks.

Gorgias outage FAQ

Is Gorgias down or is it just one channel?
Gorgias lists Email, Live Chat, SMS, WhatsApp, Instagram Direct Messages, Facebook Messenger and Twitter as separate components, so a single silent channel is more common than a full outage. Check that channel's line on status.gorgias.com. If tickets are arriving from some sources and not others, the fault is at the channel, not the helpdesk.
Why can I see the ticket but not the customer's order?
Order data comes from an integration, and Gorgias reports Shopify, ReCharge, Yotpo, Stripe and Aircall as their own components. When an integration is degraded, the conversation still arrives but the order panel fails to populate. Check the integration line rather than the helpdesk line, and avoid asking the customer to re-send details already in the shop platform.
What are the regional helpdesk clusters on the status page?
Gorgias runs helpdesk clusters in several regions, including the US, Europe and Australia, and lists them individually. An incident on one cluster affects only the accounts hosted there, which is why colleagues on another cluster may see no problem at all. Find the cluster your account uses so you are reading the line that applies to you.
Why did duplicate tickets appear after an incident?
Queued events replaying when processing resumes can create a second ticket for one conversation. Gorgias reported exactly this in August 2026 on WhatsApp, where customers saw duplicate tickets and unexpected reopenings after a period of disrupted message processing. Wait until the component reads operational before merging duplicates, since a merge made mid-incident can itself be undone.

How we measure this

  • We request Gorgias's public endpoint every 6 hours from Fly.io regions across six continents — the most recent check ran from 8 of them.
  • A region counts as down only when it gets no usable HTTP response. A 403 or 429 means the origin answered and refused us, which we report as blocked, never as an outage.
  • A single failing region is treated as probe noise. We only change the verdict when two consecutive cycles agree.
  • Response times average only the regions that actually served the page, so a timeout never inflates the number.
  • Where Gorgias publishes an official status feed we read it too. An all-clear from the vendor can soften an unconfirmed degradation; a vendor-declared outage only worsens our verdict when our own checks corroborate it.
