A component listed here does not necessarily mean a full outage — large providers routinely report maintenance on individual locations. It only affects the verdict above when the vendor marks it major or critical and our own checks also saw NVIDIA GeForce NOW fail from enough regions to rule out probe noise.
NVIDIA GeForce NOW uptime
Measured from multiple regions every 6 hours. Percentages count only checks that returned an availability answer — 10 days measured so far. A dash means that window does not yet hold enough measured days to publish a figure.
30-day history
10-day clean streakReachability by region
Each region runs its own request from a different part of the world. A service can be up for one continent and down for another, which is usually the first sign of a routing or CDN problem.
What NVIDIA GeForce NOW does
GeForce NOW streams PC games from NVIDIA data centres to a browser, phone, TV or low-powered laptop, running the game remotely rather than on the device in front of you. Players connect through a specific regional data centre and launch titles they already own on stores such as Steam and Epic, so both NVIDIA and the store have to be reachable.
What an outage looks like
Sessions fail to start and the queue position never advances, or a session drops back to the launcher part way through a game. Streams connect but stall, pixelate heavily or lose audio while the local network reports no fault. The library fails to sync with a linked store account, so owned games do not appear. One region can fail while others are fine.
What to do about it
Check status.geforcenow.com, which reports per region and names the individual data centre you connect through, so confirm the one your account uses rather than the global heading. NVIDIA also posts per-game incidents there, so a title that crashes while everything else streams may be a known game-specific fault. Switching to another region is often faster than waiting.

How we measure this
- We request NVIDIA GeForce NOW's public endpoint every 6 hours from Fly.io regions across six continents — 8 of them answered the most recent check.
- A region counts as down only when it gets no usable HTTP response. A
403or429means the origin answered and refused us, which we report as blocked, never as an outage. - A single failing region is treated as probe noise. We only change the verdict when two consecutive cycles agree.
- Response times average only the regions that actually served the page, so a timeout never inflates the number.
- Where NVIDIA GeForce NOW publishes an official status feed we read it too. An all-clear from the vendor can soften an unconfirmed degradation; a vendor-declared outage only worsens our verdict when our own checks corroborate it.
