Measured by FlareWarden's own checks of sign.dropbox.com from multiple regions every 6 hours. Dropbox Sign's status page sets the verdict above when it reports trouble, but never these figures. Percentages count only checks that returned an availability answer — 5 days measured so far. A dash means that window does not yet hold enough measured days to publish a figure.

What Dropbox Sign does

Dropbox Sign, formerly HelloSign, is Dropbox's electronic signature service. Businesses use it to send contracts and forms for signature, embed signing in their own apps through its API, and send and receive faxes through Dropbox Fax. It connects to Salesforce and HubSpot, so a signature request can start from a CRM record and the finished document is delivered back.

What an outage looks like

Uploading a document fails or hangs, so a signature request cannot be sent (August 31 and March 2, 2026). The Sign in with Dropbox button can fail on the Sign website (June 18), signing emails can arrive late (January 14), and the Salesforce integration can stop working (August 21). On January 2, 2026 sending, signing, API callbacks and both CRM integrations were down for about three hours.

What to do about it

Check status.hellosign.com, Dropbox Sign's status page, which lists sending, signing, embedded signing, API callbacks, finished document delivery, faxing and the Salesforce and HubSpot integrations separately. During the August 2026 Salesforce incident, Dropbox Sign suggested reconnecting the integration. If uploads fail, wait for the incident to clear and retry rather than sending the same request several times.

Is it down for everyone, or just you?

If this page says Dropbox Sign is up but it is not loading for you, the problem is between you and them. Run a check against any URL from up to 17 cities across three regions to find out where it breaks.

Dropbox Sign outage FAQ

Is Dropbox Sign down or is it just me?
Check status.hellosign.com, which lists each part of the service on its own. Most Dropbox Sign incidents affect one area, such as file uploads, the Sign in with Dropbox button or one integration, rather than the whole service. If the page is green and only you have problems, try another browser and check whether your network blocks file uploads.
Why is the Dropbox Sign status page on hellosign.com?
Dropbox Sign was called HelloSign, and its status page still lives at status.hellosign.com, titled Dropbox Sign and Fax. It covers Dropbox Sign, embedded signing and Dropbox Fax. Dropbox's file storage has its own status page at status.dropbox.com, so a green Dropbox page does not mean signing works, and the reverse.
Does a Dropbox Sign outage affect Salesforce or HubSpot?
Only the integration. Salesforce and HubSpot are separate components on the status page. On August 21, 2026 the Salesforce integration had problems for about seven hours, and Dropbox Sign recommended reconnecting it as a troubleshooting step. During the January 2, 2026 outage both integrations were affected along with sending, signing and API callbacks.
Does an AWS outage affect Dropbox Sign?
It can. Dropbox Sign said an AWS us-east-1 outage meant some services may not have worked as expected from 00:25 to 00:53 UTC on May 8, 2026. If AWS reports trouble in that region, expect Dropbox Sign to be affected too, and check its status page before resending requests.

How we measure this

  • We request Dropbox Sign's public endpoint every 6 hours from Fly.io regions across six continents — the most recent check ran from 8 of them. When you open this page and our last check is more than 30 minutes old, we check again on the spot; those checks update the verdict, never the availability figures.
  • A region counts as down only when it gets no usable HTTP response. A 403 or 429 means the origin answered and refused us, which we report as blocked, never as an outage.
  • A single failing region is treated as probe noise. Our checks only change their verdict when two consecutive cycles agree.
  • Response times average only the regions that actually served the page, so a timeout never inflates the number.
  • Where Dropbox Sign publishes an official status feed we read it too, and the verdict is the worse of what it reports and what our checks see: a major outage of Dropbox Sign itself is Down, trouble with one part of it is Degraded, problems at a few of a provider's many locations change nothing, and a security notice that marks nothing down is shown but changes nothing either. We check the feed every 3 minutes and read it again within minutes of any change to its incidents or components; a reading counts for 45 minutes after the last check that found nothing changed. The availability figures above are our measurement alone.
