What Breezy HR does

Breezy HR is an applicant tracking system used by over 17,000 companies to advertise jobs, run hosted career sites and move candidates from application to offer. It posts positions to 50+ free job sites such as Indeed, ZipRecruiter and LinkedIn, automates screening, candidate emails and interview scheduling, and passes new hires to HRIS tools such as BambooHR, Gusto and Rippling. Breezy is part of Learning Technologies Group plc.

What an outage looks like

The Breezy app does not load, the failure Breezy has reported most often on its status page, or company, position, user and candidate records fail to open. A separate failure is Career Sites: company portals at addresses such as acme.breezy.hr, or a custom careers subdomain pointed at one, stop loading, so candidates cannot apply while nobody inside the company sees an error.

What to do about it

It lists Career Sites, App - Companies, App - Positions, App - Users, App - Candidates and the Marketing Website as separate rows. If Career Sites is affected, tell anyone running live job ads. Candidates say they cannot apply, but Breezy works for me. Is it down?

Possibly in part. Breezy reports Career Sites as its own row on status.breezy.hr, separate from the app components, so hosted career portals can fail while the app you are logged into works. Applications that never arrive produce no error inside Breezy. Check the Career Sites row, and open your portal in a private window to see what candidates see.

How long does Breezy take to post a job to Indeed and other boards?

Usually within one business day of activation. Breezy's help center says free job boards are enabled by default and approved positions go to every relevant board, with timing varying by board; Indeed receives them through an XML feed and the listing sends applicants directly to Breezy. If a job has not appeared within 24 hours of approval, it may not meet that board's criteria, so contact support@breezyhr.com.

Does a Breezy outage break interview scheduling and email?

It can, but check the provider too. Breezy schedules interviews and sends email through integrations with Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, Gmail and Outlook, and runs video interviews through Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Its status page reports only Breezy's own components, so if every Breezy row is green, a calendar or mail problem may sit with the provider. Check their status pages before reconnecting the integration.

Does the check on this page measure the Breezy app?

No. It loads breezy.hr, the marketing website, which Breezy reports as its own Marketing Website component. The app's companies, positions, users and candidates areas and the hosted career sites each have a separate row on status.breezy.hr, so the website can answer while candidates cannot reach your careers portal, or the reverse. Use those rows to judge the part you depend on.

How do I contact Breezy support during an outage?

Use live chat or email. Breezy's help center says the chat icon in the lower-right corner of the app or the Breezy website reaches a live person during business hours, weekdays from roughly 9 AM to 8 PM Eastern, usually within a few minutes, and that support@breezyhr.com works too, on every plan. If the app will not load, use the website chat or email. The help center lists no phone number.

How we measure this

We request Breezy HR's public endpoint every 6 hours from Fly.io regions across six continents — the most recent check ran from 8 of them. When you open this page and our last check is more than 30 minutes old, we check again on the spot; those checks update the verdict, never the availability figures.
A region counts as down only when it gets no usable HTTP response. A 403 or 429 means the origin answered and refused us, which we report as blocked, never as an outage.
A single failing region is treated as probe noise. Our checks only change their verdict when two consecutive cycles agree.
Response times average only the regions that actually served the page, so a timeout never inflates the number.
Where Breezy HR publishes an official status feed we read it too, and the verdict is the worse of what it reports and what our checks see: a major outage of Breezy HR itself is Down, trouble with one part of it is Degraded, problems at a few of a provider's many locations change nothing, and a security notice that marks nothing down is shown but changes nothing either.
