You enter a card at checkout, and you are not charged during the trial. If you cancel before day 7 you pay nothing and your account drops to the Free plan — we email you three days before the trial ends so it never arrives as a surprise. If you do nothing, the plan you picked starts and your card is charged for the interval you selected. Each account gets one trial. If you would rather not enter a card at all, the Free plan needs none and never expires.

Yes. The free plan includes 15 monitors, multi-region verification, email alerts, and a status page — with no credit card and no expiration. Upgrade only when you need more.

Every plan includes five kinds of monitoring from one unified pool: uptime checks verify your website loads at all, content checks confirm specific text is present on your pages, dependency checks track third-party services you rely on, cron job monitors alert you when scheduled tasks fail, hang, or miss their schedule, and heartbeat monitors confirm your services are alive by expecting periodic pings. All five draw from one monitor pool, and so does anomaly detection: a website's uptime check uses one monitor (its SSL and DNS checks are included), and each check or anomaly detection you add uses one more. There is no separate limit on websites or on any type, so use any mix you need.

Upgrade your plan — or on any paid plan, add 10 extra monitors for $5/mo once any trial has ended. Monitor add-ons stack, up to 50 packs (+500 monitors) per account. Either change takes effect immediately and we'll prorate your billing so you only pay for the time remaining in your billing cycle.

Yes. You can change your plan at any time from the Billing page. To move to a smaller paid plan, first delete monitors beyond its limit; the new plan applies right away and unused time is credited to your next invoice. To move to the Free plan, cancel your subscription: your paid plan keeps working until the end of the billing period.

Enabling anomaly detection on a monitor uses one additional slot from your plan's monitor pool, because we run and store a full learning model alongside the checks. Turn it off any time to free the slot. Need more room? Upgrade your plan — or on any paid plan, add 10 extra monitors for $5/mo.

No — Slack, Discord, Google Chat and Microsoft Teams alerts (all currently in beta) are included on every plan and use your plan's webhook allotment. Just pick Slack, Discord, Google Chat or Microsoft Teams as the destination type when adding an alert destination.

Each plan includes a base number of subscribers for your status pages. If you need more, you can purchase add-ons on any paid plan to expand your capacity. Add-ons are billed monthly and can be adjusted anytime.

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through Stripe. You enter your card on Stripe's checkout page; FlareWarden never sees the full card number.

You can export all your monitoring history and settings before canceling. After cancellation, request complete data deletion and we'll wipe everything. Your account data stays in its home region (US, EU or Asia-Pacific). See our privacy policy for details.
